The downloaded file would be a PDF file, once you open the file, it will ask for the password. Here the problem arises as you are not aware of what to enter for passwords. Please keep in mind that it is a 08 character long password that will include your name and date of birth's certain characteristics.

Password for this file would be entered as first 04 characters of your name in capital letters and year of your date of birth. For example, if your name is MANOJ KUMAR and your date of birth is 20-01-1989, the password for aadhar card password would be MANO1989. Please carry supporting documents such as passport, driving license, photo ATM card or voter ID, etc. The UIDAI representative will enter demographic data based on your submitted document. This person will show you all the data on the screen before going to save on UIDAI's database. It is your responsibility to check the entered data thoroughly otherwise you will be the only person who will suffer from problems.

Apart from this, the biometric scan will be taken for all your fingers and Iris eye scan. After completion of all the process, you will be given Enrollment ID in printed form. You can use this ID to track the status of your application.
